If you're experiencing any of the following symptoms, you may require earwax removal:

Do you treat children ?

Yes, we see patients from the age of 10+. We understand some children can be hesitant to have earwax removed hence why we dedicate more time and support to ensure your child has a safe, hassle-free experience.

Do I need to prepare my ears for the appointment ?

Individuals have varying earwax consistencies, so we suggest using Earol Olive or similar medical-grade olive eardrops, available at most pharmacies and supermarkets. We recommend applying these drops for 3-5 days before your appointment, ideally before bedtime, with 2-3 drops in each ear. We do not recommend Otex Express or any eardrops containing Hydrogen Peroxide. It's important to consult your GP or pharmacist to confirm the suitability of the eardrops for your needs.

I have an ear infection can you still treat me ears ?

Microsuction is safe to perform when one has an outer ear infection. Removing pus, wax and any other infectious debris can help relieve the pain from the infection and allow you to hear better. If you are not being treated with antibiotic medication, we can arrange a referral for you to be treated with medication to ensure the infection is treated thoroughly. Removing puss and infectious debris will cost an additional £10 to replace equipment used during the procedure.

How Quickly can i be seen ?

we hold an appointment once weekly in the hartleepool , stockton, sunderland and county durham areas so at most 6 days.

What if you can't remove all the earwax in one visit ?

It's uncommon for us to not fully remove any earwax during a single visit. However, if a follow-up appointment is necessary, we won't charge for multiple visits unless you reside more than 55 miles away from sunderland . In such cases, a £25 fee would appl
